New Hiring Process
If you’re just starting out hiring for a new role, or you’ve re-vamped the process for an existing role, we’d love to help you get your rubric right from the start!
You just need a take-home challenge that allows candidates to show you work similar to what they’ll do in the role for real. No need for a rubric, or any ideas at all about how to evaluate it. Calibra works best if you come with an open mind!
Here’s what we’ll do:
You’ll upload the challenge instructions to Calibra, and then go ahead and start sending the challenge to candidates!
For the first 10-20 candidate reviews, you’ll have your two most trusted experts (folks who know best what someone needs to succeed in the role) do open-form reviews. They’ll just write a few sentences each about what they liked, what they didn’t like, whether the candidate should pass or fail, and why.
Your expert reviewers can write their reviews directly in Calibra, or rely on our integration with popular ATS software to pull your reviews into Calibra.
Based on your expert reviews, we create a super simple, fast, easy to use evaluation rubric, along with a plain English explanation of how they’re really making decisions. If you don’t like something, you can change it!
You can start using the rubric right away, and open up to more reviewers.
We’ll keep analyzing your reviews in the background, and alert you to any reviewer drift or other problems, ensuring you keep evaluating candidates consistently, and make the best hiring decisions!
Improve an Existing Hiring Process
If you’ve already been hiring for a role for a while, and you’re having problems with frequent reviewer disagreements or inconsistent quality later in your pipeline, we can fix your process!
Here’s what we’ll do:
You’ll upload your take-home challenge instructions to Calibra.
You’ll upload (or, share via an integration) your most recent 10-20 candidate submissions and reviews.
We’ll figure out the underlying reasons why your reviewers are disagreeing, and lay it out in plain English for you. You’ll be able to decide what you really want to evaluate.
We’ll create a super simple, fast, easy to use evaluation rubric based on your choices!
You can iterate and make changes after you test out the rubric.
We’ll keep analyzing your reviews in the background, and alert you to any problems, so that you can make the best hiring decisions!
